FIFO role for experienced operators on large mining excavators (Hitachi/Liebherr/CAT class). You’ll be operating on production benches and waste areas with a focus on safe digging, efficient truck loading and strong radio communication across day/night shifts. Key duties: - Production digging and truck loading on active benches - Bench management, hazard identification and compliance to dig plans - Pre-starts, machine care and accurate defect reporting - Work effectively with dispatch, supervisors and haulage crews What you’ll need: - RII excavator ticket (RIIMPO320F or equivalent) + VOC on large mining excavator - Standard 11 / GIRS, current mine medical - Proven open cut mining experience and ability to work rotating FIFO roster
